What Happens During the Procedure?

Dr. Vargas will administer a local anesthetic and then remove fat from either your buttocks, thighs or abdomen. Once the fat is removed from the donor area, Dr. Vargas then injects the fat into the area of the face. The fat transfer/injection process is then repeated until you reach the desired effect. Fat grafting can be done in about an hour as an in-office procedure at Vargas Face & Skin Center. If you are having other procedures performed in conjunction with this one, it will be done at the surgery center.
